We’re building on this strength and looking for a Senior Account Director to expand to other geographies, industries, and applications. This role is foundational at CarboNet as you build out our U.S. footprint. You’ll use your experience water treatment and flocculant sales to help our customers rethink their water treatment as they triage existing systems, tough regulations, and water scarcity.

 

The Role

Strategy: Identify industries and applications where our chemistry can have the biggest impact and we can build sales momentum.

Sales: Identify operators and manufacturers who are open to our water treatment strategy and close deals through a consultative and collaborative approach. Lead negotiations and oversee all contracts.

Scale: Build a pipeline and playbook that’s dependable and aids in forecasting, revenue growth, and margins. Collaborate: Work with R&D on how to best frame or adapt our chemistry for specific opportunities; marketing on how to target and message an industry or application; and support to ensure our delivery and relationship management is first class.

Duh: Be an expert in your field. Know the chemistry, applications, industries, and regulations that impact us and our customers.


Requirements

Education: bachelor’s degree in chemistry or water treatment. A master’s degree is a plus. Throw in an MBA and we’re cooking. Experience: A minimum of 5 years in sales or account management within the water treatment industry, with a specific emphasis on polymer/flocculant sales.

Location: Preferably located in Texas or the East Coast industrial corridors (U.S.).

 

You have an edge if you have:

  • Experience w/multi-million-dollar accounts
  • Experience selling across the C-suite through to operators in the field
  • An ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language
  • Experience in demonstrating flocculants across a variety of waste waters in bench scale and at a scale
  • CarboNet is a hybrid work environment, this role is remote but requires frequent travel (min 25%/year), etc.
  • Are well-versed in Family Guy quotes. Simpsons as a substitute.
